As part of his #SwimDuwamish campaign, Mark Powell from the Washington Environmental Council joins Jeff Stern, King County’s project manager for the Lower Duwamish Superfund cleanup, to discuss the Duwamish Diagonal early action work and the positive progress being made on restoring nature in this industrial stretch of the river.

Fly over the Duwamish River in this video and see King County’s major facilities and services. Maybe you can spot your home or business! King County is your neighbor in the lower Duwamish area and we’re working hard to protect the environment, jobs and people through restoration, wastewater services, transportation and public health. For all of us who live or work there – it’s Our Duwamish. (Video also available in Spanish and Vietnamese.)
