The updated King County landslide hazard mapping has been developed to support several county programs. The King County Department of Permitting and Environmental Review will use updated mapping as an improved screening tool for the review of permit applications of land-use proposals in unincorporated areas of the county. The King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks will use updated mapping information about landslide hazards to inform the King County Flood Control District's capital planning along the major river corridors, including incorporated areas.

Landslide hazard mapping information is available through each department’s webpage. In addition, a combination of the mapping information from the two departments is available through King County’s iMap Interactive Mapping Tool. The two web portals below link to the web tools that were developed by and for each of the departments.
