Cover: Recommendations of the King County Farms and Food RoundtableThe Final Report of the King County Farms and Food Roundtable is the result of a collaborative effort by the King County Farms and Food Roundtable,
a thirty-five member group with  experience in local farming, food processing, distribution, marketing, financing and technical assistance.  Their report outlines recommendations to:

  • Preserve additional farmland in King County;
  • Increase market and distribution opportunities for local farmers in King County, looking particularly at food hubs or other means of aggregating local product to expand access to markets.

The King County Farms and Food Roundtable is sponsored jointly by King County, the City of Seattle, and the Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority.
