Domestic Violence Protection Orders/Anti-Harassment Protection Orders/Sexual Assault Protection OrdersPer state law, these orders are to be served by the law enforcement agency where the respondent resides or works. For us, that means unincorporated King County, and/or the cities that contract with KCSO for police services. These cities are: Beaux Arts, Burien, Covington, Kenmore, Maple Valley, Newcastle, North Bend, Sammamish, SeaTac, Shoreline, Skykomish, and Woodinville. In order for our office to attempt service, we need the complete order, petition (if applicable), in addition to the Law Enforcement Information Sheet. This form provides law enforcement with valuable information that will assist us in effecting service. There is no fee associated with service of Domestic Violence Protection Orders or Sexual Assault Protection Orders.
