What you’ll need

When you are registering, you will need:

Your ID
The date and place of your conviction
The offense for which you were convicted

Notifying Us of a Move

Once you have registered with us (or re-registered upon moving back into King County) you need to keep us informed if you move. You can notify us in person or in writing at the following address:

If you move outside of King County, please notify us in writing. You will also need to register in person at the sheriff's office in the county to which you move.

Hours: 8:30 am - 4 p.m. weekdays
Close holidays

Registration takes approximately 30 minutes. At this time, you will be fingerprinted and photographed.
