Shoreline Man Reports Fictitious Home Invasion Robbery to 911
An 18 year old Shoreline man was booked into jail this morning after detectives discovered that he lied when he called 911 to report that he’d been the victim of a home invasion robbery. 

‘Shop with a Cop’ Coming Saturday
On December 10, over 450 under-privileged kids are expected to receive a $50 holiday shopping spree and the chance to “Shop with a Cop” at Wal-Mart in Covington. 

New Palm Print AFIS
King County’s Regional Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) identified the suspect in Shoreline Sexual assault by using new palm print technology.

Woodinville- “Trapper O’Brien’s Cabin,” a historic building built in the 1800’s burned down around 12 a.m. on November 23rd. The building is located near the Ornamental Heritage Garden in the 16200 block of 140 PL NE.  

King County Sheriff’s Office to Close Maple Valley and Kenmore Precincts December 5
The King County Sheriff’s Precincts located in Maple Valley and Kenmore will be closing their doors to the public starting Monday, December 5th. These precincts will be combined with other facilities in the next few weeks.  

Birds of a Feather: Seattle Seahawks Players to Hand out 500 Turkeys to Families of Dimmitt Middle School
On November 22, five hundred families will line up outside Dimmitt Middle School to receive Thanksgiving baskets and the chance to meet a few Seahawks players. In a large multi-state and local community effort, the Seattle Seahawks, A Better Seattle, Unified Grocers, A Foundation for Kids, Dimmitt Middle School, King County Sheriff’s Office and the Greater King County Police Activities League (GKCPAL) will come together to make this a Thanksgiving to remember.

Police Need Help to Identifying Bank Robber
Shoreline- The Wells Fargo Bank on Richmond Beach Road in Shoreline was robbed at gun point on Monday at 1225pm.  

Serial Bank Robbers Arrested
Two bank robbers in their 60’s were arrested in Snohomish County late this afternoon by Sheriff's detectives. Investigators believe the men are responsible for at last three banks robberies in Shoreline and two in Seattle since July, either together or separately.  

Additional Information on Officer-Involved Shooting
Both detectives involved in the shooting of a homicide suspect in Seattle yesterday are assigned to the Homicide and Assault Unit of the Seattle Police Department.
