Four Injured in Early Morning, South County Crash

Four men were hurt, at least two critically, in a crash that occurred about 4:45 AM this morning (December 20th). It was single vehicle crash in the 40600 block of 180th Ave SE, unincorporated King County, west of Enumclaw.

All four men in the vehicle were taken to Harborview Medical Center.

The vehicle, a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe was northbound on 180th Ave NE. The driver passed the “T” intersection at SE 408th then lost control. The vehicle rolled and struck two trees before coming to a stop.

Two of the men in the car were ejected, contributing to their injuries.

The driver was a 20 year-old Enumclaw man. One of the passengers is 39 years old from Auburn. The other two passengers are believed to in their 20’s and late 30’s, respectively, but have not yet been positively identified.

The accident is still under investigation and there have been no arrests or citations. Alcohol and excessive speed are believed to be contributing factors in the crash.
