Teen Dies in Traffic Accident
A 17 year-old Seattle girl died last night (December 28th) in a traffic accident. She was a passenger in a 1991 Ford Escort driven by an 18 year-old Renton man.  

92 Year-Old Tied Up, Robbed During Home Invasion; His Truck Stolen Too
A 92 year-old Shoreline resident was tied up and robbed yesterday (December 27th) by two men who said their car was broken down and they needed to use his phone.  

Skull Identified as Possible Green River Victim
A skull found in an Auburn ravine on Tuesday (December 21st) was positively identified as Becky Marrero. The remains were identified by Dr. Gary Bell, who performs forensic odontology for Medical Examiner’s Office and the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab.  

Woman Shot by Teens with Pellet Rifle
A 30 year-old woman, 3 months pregnant, was shot in the shoulder late yesterday afternoon (December 21st) by two teenagers with a powerful pellet rifle. The woman was treated and released at Overlake Medical Center. The teens were arrested.  

Sheriff's Office and Auburn Police Investigating Found Skull
The Sheriff's Office, with the assistance of the Auburn Police Department, are investigating the circumstances surrounding a human skull that was found yesterday inside the City of Auburn.  

Shoreline Man Critically Injured After Foiling Car Theft
A 55 year-old Shoreline man was critically injured while trying to foil the theft of his car. He is currently in Harborview Medical Center and has not regained consciousness since the incident late last week.  

$2000 Reward Offered for Pharmacy Robber
Dressed to conceal gender, an armed robber has committed three pharmacy robberies in the past few months. Each time the robber heads to the pharmacy counter and asks for oxycodone. In at least one of the robberies a pistol was waived around while the pharmacist complied.  

Additional Charges Expected Against Stranger-Rape Suspect
Sheriff’s detectives believe an additional rape charge will be filed against Phillip Baldwin, age 20 of Maple Valley. Baldwin is already in custody and charged with a rape that occurred in Seattle on September 22nd, and a rape that occurred in Maple Valley on Sept. 30th.  

Four Injured in Early Morning, South County Crash
Four men were hurt, at least two critically, in a crash that occurred about 4:45 AM this morning (December 20th). It was single vehicle crash in the 40600 block of 180th Ave SE, unincorporated King County, west of Enumclaw.  

Sheriff's Detectives Arrest Suspect in Cold Case Homicide
Detectives from the Sheriff's Office Cold Case Squad arrested a 46 year-old man as the suspect in a homicide that occurred 27 years ago.
