Juvenile Arrested for Bomb Threats
On Monday December 14 and again on Tuesday December 15 the Principal of Dimmitt Middle School received several anonymous emails containing threats to blow up the school, set fire to the school and shoot to death students of the school.

A bar fight at closing time this morning led to the death of one man. A second victim was taken to Harborview with stabs wounds. However he is expected to survive.

The biological father of a 4 year-old boy violated a custody order and fled with the boy. Earlier this week both were located in York, Pennsylvania.

Pedestrian Hit by Car in Burien
A 72 year-old SeaTac man was hit by a car this morning as he crossed a street in Burien. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

A woman accidently drowned last night in Beaver Lake, city of Sammamish.

Woman Attacked with Hammer; Suspect on the Lam
Sheriff's deputies and detectives are looking for a man who broke into his ex-girl friend’s house this morning and attacked her with a hammer. Then he stole her car. The woman is 41 years old.

Budget 101: The Cuts to Cops on the Street
There has been some confusion over budget numbers released by the Sheriff's Office Wednesday (Sept. 30th), and statements made by the Executive’s Budget Office. This should clear up at least some of the confusion.
