Man Dies in Skyway Shooting

Search Continues for Suspect

A man was shot and killed in Skyway early Saturday morning (November 22^nd). His killer is still on the loose. Two other people we wounded by shots fired by the suspect.

The dead man, 22 years old, is originally from the Sudan. His last know address is in Kennewick. He died at the scene.

Two other men were shot but had non life-threatening injuries. One was treated at Harborview Medical Center and other refused hospital treatment.

The incident occurred at about 2:10 AM. A disturbance broke out in the Afriq Restaurant & Lounge, 12619 Renton Ave South. The dispute spilled out into the parking lot and street. Several shots were fired by one suspect. Three people were hit.

A fourth man originally claimed to have been shot. But it turned out he was severely cut after he put his arm through the plate class window of a neighboring business.

The suspect fled in a red car. He has not been identified and the weapon used was not recovered.
