Two Arrested In Boulevard Park Homicide

Suspects 14 and 15 years old

Two people were arrested this week in the shooting death of a 16 year-old boy on October 30^th. The shooting occurred in the Boulevard Park neighborhood of unincorporated King County.

James Jametsky was shot about 8:15 PM in the parking lot of the Fairway Lanai Apartments, 1807 S. 118^th St. He was at the apartments babysitting his 3 year-old nephew and was shot by someone in a vehicle.

The two arrested were 14 years-old and 15 years-old, respectively, on the night of the shooting. The 14 year-old, living in Kent, was the passenger in the car. Detectives believe he is the shooter. He was arrested Tuesday (November 4^th) and booked into the Youth Center for Investigation of Homicide.

The 15 year-old driver of the car is also from Kent. He was arrested yesterday (November 6^th) and booked into the Youth Center for Investigation of Robbery.

Detectives believe Jametsky was selling marijuana to the two assailants when he was shot. Investigation subsequent to the shooting led to the arrests.

Charges are pending.
