'Hoody' Bandit Arrested

The so-called ‘hoody bandit’ was detained late yesterday then formally arrested by a joint task force of King County, Bothell, and Snohomish County detectives.

The 19 year-old suspect was taken into custody near NE 155th and 135th Place NE, which is in the city of Woodinville. He was living nearby with his mother. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail at 8:45 PM.

Good police work and a tip from the public led detectives to the suspect.

Detectives believe there are no other suspects outstanding.

The man was booked on one count of robbery based on the November 14th robbery of the Baskin & Robbins in Kingsgate. Additional counts of robbery are expected at the time charges are filed, which must be within 72 hours.
