Dec. 12, 2007 Shoreline Police Arrest Suspect in Series of Pharmacy Robberies Shoreline Police arrested a suspect last night in a string of pharmacy robberies. Detectives believe he has hit at least seven pharmacies in the last eight days. The man was armed with a knife or a gun. He is 28 years old and a convicted felon. The suspect demanded Oyxcontin from the employees of the pharmacies. The robberies have occurred in Shoreline, Seattle, Edmonds, and Lynwood. The robbery spree apparently began December 4th. The last robbery was yesterday, December 11th in Seattle. Detectives from all agencies were actively investigating the cases and had a description of the suspect vehicle, a 2007 black Mercedes E-350. Coincidently, last night Shoreline police went to a disturbance at an apartment complex at NE 195th and 26th Ave NE. The suspect in the disturbance, who lives in the complex, had just left in a black E-350. While officers hunted for the Mercedes, detectives from the Sheriff's Office and Seattle Police worked to identify the driver and see if he was responsible for any of the robberies. Detectives were able to develop probable cause for the arrest. The suspect was located back this apartment and eventually taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
