Guardian One Making Rescues in Lewis County

The Sheriff's helicopter, Guardian One went back to Lewis County this morning to assist with rescue efforts due to the severe flooding.

Yesterday (December 3rd) Guardian One was also used in Lewis County. They rescued 46 people, 12 dogs, and two cats. (Not all at the same time!)

Of the recues, five were hoisted up, and the rest were able to climb aboard during hovering, or the helicopter landed for pick-up.

The flooding is still severe, and additional rescues are expected today.
