Name: David Adams

Age: 8

Height/Weight: 4', 50 lbs

Hair/Eye Color: Brown/Blue

David Adams was eight years old when he disappeared in May of 1968. He was last seen walking a short distance home from a near-by friend’s house. David’s home was in the Tiger Mountain area of Issaquah in southeast King County. A massive Search and Rescue operation that lasted weeks could not locate a trace of David.

Name: Verla Winter

Age: 29

Verla Winter was reported missing by her husband on October 21, 1968. He said that she left during the night of October 13, 1968 after an argument, but hasn’t been heard from since. She left behind two young children. Her family reported that they had frequent contact with the victim via the phone and mail prior to her disappearance, but since then all contact has ceased.

Anyone with information is asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Cold Case Squad.
