Woodinville Bike OfficerThe citizens of Woodinville have contracted for their police services with the Sheriff's Office since 1993. A police chief, an administrative sergeant, six officers, and a school resource officer serve the community. Although these officers are King County employees, they wear Woodinville uniforms and drive City of Woodinville patrol cars building an even stronger community spirit and identity.

By contracting, the City is able to provide the widest possible range of police services, from routine patrol to highly specialized police teams such as detectives, the K-9 unit, bomb disposal, and fraud and forgery unit. Woodinville uses crime information and reports to solve problems and reduce crime in the community. In addition, they provide monthly crime prevention tips in the city newsletter.
