Sergeant Nancy Spadoni
I was born and raised in the Puget Sound area. I love the area, and spend a lot of my free time climbing mountains, including Mount Rainier. When I was 16, I knew I wanted to be a cop.
I interned with the Federal Way Police Department after high school while I attended Highline Community College, and became an explorer when I was 20. At the time, Federal Way was served by the Sheriff’s Office, so as soon as I was old enough, I tested for a job as a deputy.
During my 20 years on the job, I’ve worn many hats. One of the best experiences was helping to start the forensic sketching program that we use to this day.
