Pet Bereavement Support Group
Pets aren’t just part of our lives...they’re part of our family. When a beloved companion animal dies, the pain can be nearly overwhelming.
Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) is pleased to offer our Pet Bereavement Support Group to help those who have lost a beloved friend. The group is peer-based, facilitated by RASKC volunteers. We share stories, provide each other with an understanding heart, and a shoulder to lean on.
We invite you to join us as we journey together on a path toward healing.
Meetings are held the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 2:00-3:30pm at the King County Pet Adoption Center.
Check our online events calendar for upcoming dates.
Would you like to help people who are dealing with the loss of a beloved pet? RASKC is seeking volunteers to assist with the Pet Bereavement Support Group, especially to help co-facilitate meetings.
