Cascadia Rising Earthquake Exercise - June 2016
A magnitude 8.0 - 9.0 Cascadia subduction zone earthquake and tsunami will have catastrophic impacts to our region. So, planning is underway for a four-day, multi-state, multi-agency earthquake exercise to test a whole community approach to complex disaster operations.
Our ability to conduct successful life-saving and life-sustaining response operations will hinge on effective coordination and integration of governments at all levels – cities, counties, state agencies, federal officials, the military, tribal nations – as well as non-government organizations and the private sector. Learn more about the scope of this exercise and ways to participate.
