Natural Lands Legacy Campaign
Our region’s lush forests and scenic landscapes have helped King County establish a rich tradition of parks and open space, earning it a reputation as an exceptional place to live, work, play, and raise a family. King County Parks is leading the effort to preserve wetlands and critical wildlife habitat in the region. Over the past several years we have embarked on major restoration projects that will protect thousands of acres of wetlands, forests, and other public lands.

Learn more about how King County Parks, our partners, and thousands of volunteers are making a difference today and what you can do to help us continue these efforts.

A gift of any amount supports our efforts. Gifts of $1,500 or more will be recognized with an on-site plaque honoring you or a designated loved one. Please contact Jessica Emerson for more information regarding dedication and recognition opportunities for larger gifts.

Visit the How to Donate page to learn about our Legacy Bench and Tree Program, as well as other giving options through the King County Parks Legacy Fund.

"Giving back to Parks was a natural outgrowth of our efforts to inspire community, recreation, and better quality of life - and allowed us to honor a gifted colleague taken from us too early. Because we are a local brand, we value occasions like this when we can support our community in a real and meaningful way."
