PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Use of King County Parks' property is regulated through the issuance of permits. The type of permit you’ll need depends upon the type of activity you're interestd in doing on King County Parks' properties.

For non-recreational uses that require alteration to Parks' property, such as ingress/egress across a Parks' property or utility installations, you’ll need to complete and submit a Parks Application Questionnaire to Alter Park Property and provide supporting documentation, such as a site plan or construction drawings.

King County Parks staff will review your application and return their recommendation of approval or disapproval within six weeks of receipt. If the Parks Division recommends approval, King County's Real Estate Services Division will complete the evaluation process. Upon their approval of your project, they will issue the appropriate Use Permit and set any necessary performance bond amounts and required permit and land use fees.

For recreational uses (of all parks except for Marymoor), such as events in indoor facilities, picnic shelters rentals, scheduling ballfields or camping, explore the Rentals section of our website for more details. For events and other activities at Marymoor, please contact the Marymoor Park Office directly.

For commercial activities or concessions, explore the Partnerships for Parks section of our website for more details.
