King County Parks has issued a Determination of Non-Significance for the Black Diamond Parking Lot Installation. Parking is currently occurring along the shoulders of SR-169. The new parking areas will allow safe access to both sides of the park which is bisected by SR-169. The extensive trail system in the park attracts hikers, equestrians and bicyclists. The two gravel parking lots will accommodate a total of approximately 40 automobile spaces and 10 truck and trailer spaces.
