Effective 0800 hours, Saturday, October 1, 2011, the burning ban has been lifted by King County Fire Marshal

BURN BAN LIFTED: The King County Fire Marshal has lifted the Phase 1 burn ban effective at 0800 hours on Saturday, October 1, 2011. The burn ban lift has been issued in conjunction with King County Fire Chiefs' Association.

A burn ban was activated for unincorporated King County on August 8, 2011, and applied to all outdoor burning except for small recreational fires in established fire pits at approved camp grounds or private property with the owner's permission
