Park Lake II

Park Lake II is the King County Housing Authority's (KCHA) proposal to redevelop the Park Lake Homes II public housing development.  It is located in White Center (just south of West Seattle in King County) and is about 1/4 mile south of the Greenbridge development.

The project proposes to replace 165 units with 318 new homes, including public and low-income rental units, 17 Habitat for Humanity homes, and 112 market-rate for-sale homes.  The project also includes a 6,500-square-foot community center as well as plans to create new pedestrian trails and to add new roads and parks.  Green building practices are to be used throughout the project.

The Environmental Assessment that was completed in February 2009 is available online.
