Alteration: Plat alteration to a subdivision

What is the purpose of a plat alteration?

An alteration allows revisions to legally recorded plat or short plat, including creation of new building lots provided everything is consistent with applicable zoning, conditions of preliminary plat approval, recorded covenants, and other binding regulations.
