Plumbing and on-site septic system permitsIn unincorporated King County, permits that are required for gas piping, plumbing, and on-site septic systems for construction are administered and permitted by Public Health - Seattle & King County. Note: These Public Health services are now available in Renton. In November 2008, Environmental Health staff moved from Bellevue to the DDES office building in Renton. This move places permitting services under one roof, providing convenient services to permit customers who will no longer need to travel to two sites. Electrical wiring permitsIn unincorporated King County, the design, installation, or modification to electrical wiring is permitted through the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I).
