GIS maps and property and zoning research tools
GIS stands for "Geographic Information System." DPER GIS staff provide permit and parcel related geographic information, including map production and geographic analysis.
Property research tools
To research property records, please note that the location of a record depends on varying factors such as the jurisidiction of the property and the type and date of the record.
The Parcel Viewer and iMap show general boundaries for properties. They do not show the exact property lines or survey of the property.
If a survey were recorded with King County, the King County Recorder's Office would have it on file. The Recorder's office has an online search for recorded documents. Please click here to be directed to their website.
If there is not a record of the survey on file, you will need to hire a surveyor. King County does not provide this service.
