Dated information for historical reference only Each year, technical changes can be made to the King County Comprehensive Plan. The 2009 Comprehensive Plan update to the King County Comprehensive Plan 2008 proposes modifications to development codes and an analysis of the Regional Trails Needs Report. No property-specific land use or zoning changes are proposed. Shoreline Master Program updateThe King County Shoreline Master Program is also being updated as part of the 2009 King County Comprehensive Plan Update. Public commentKing County welcomes comments on the 2009 update. The deadline for submitting comments on the draft update was Friday, February 20, 2009. Staff will revise the proposal based on comments and any new information received. The Executive will then transmit the Executive Recommended 2009 Comprehensive Plan amendments to the King County Council on March 2, 2009 for their review and approval.
