2009 King County Comprehensive Plan Update:
Executive recommended amendments
Each year, technical changes can be made to the King County Comprehensive Plan.
The Executive Recommended 2009 Comprehensive Plan amendments to the King County Comprehensive Plan 2008 propose modifications to development codes and an analysis of the Regional Trails Needs Report. No property-specific land use or zoning changes are proposed.
The proposed 2009 amendments are available for viewing below, listed by section.

Executive Sims transmitted his Executive Recommended 2009 Comprehensive Plan amendments to the King County Council on March 2, 2009 for their review and approval.
Beginning in spring 2009, the King County Council Physical Environment Committee will review the Executive Recommended amendments. Final adoption of the amendments is expected later this year.
The proposed update of the Shoreline Master Program, which was circulated for public comment to be included as part of the 2009 King County Comprehensive Plan update, was not included in the March 2, 2009 transmittal of the Executive Recommended 2009 update of the King County Comprehensive Plan to the King County Council.
The Executive Recommended Shoreline Master Program was transmitted on Nov. 5, 2009 to the King County Council for consideration. Please see the Executive Recommended King County Shoreline Master Program for updated information.
