Welcome to King County Code Enforcement, a function within the Department of Development and Environmental Services (DDES). DDES Code Enforcement officers investigate complaints of irresponsible or hazardous development that are also violations of King County Code including zoning, housing and building, shorelines, and critical areas. DDES Code Enforcement's jurisdiction is unincorporated King County.
See code violation examples for more about the types of complaints DDES investigates, and go to code violation complaints for information on filing a complaint.
