Contact Public Health - Seattle & King County at 206-296-4932 for questions related to septic systems, drainfields, wells and plumbing.
Also contact Public Health with as-built (septic system 'maps'), gas piping, pump and septic tanks, and OSS (on-site sewage systems) questions.
Please refer to information Public Health offers about septic systems at www.kingcounty.gov/healthservices/health/ehs/wastewater.aspx and plumbing permits at www.kingcounty.gov/healthservices/health/ehs/plumbing.aspx.
Note: These Public Health services are now available in Renton. In November 2008, Environmental Health staff moved from Bellevue to the DDES office building in Renton. This move places permitting services under one roof, providing convenient services to permit customers who no longer need to travel to two sites.
