Special Council meetings can be scheduled with a minimum of 28 hours advance notice.

NOTE: RCW 29A.04.321(6) provides an exception for elections held pursuant to a county home-rule charter, such as charter amendments, initiatives and referenda. Please contact the PAO or the Clerk if you have specific questions.
Note: This schedule does not apply to Charter amendments, because Charter ยง800 provides that ordinances proposing amendments to the Charter are not subject to executive veto, such ordinances have an effective date (10 days after enactment by the Council) that differs from the effective date of an ordinance that is subject to executive veto.
