Acquisition unit

The Acquisition unit of the Real Estate Services Section provides specialized real estate support services to various county departments including the following:

• Acquisition of real estate, rights of way, and easements.
• Appraisal of real estate, rights of way and surplus property.
• Appraisal reviews for other county agencies.
• Relocation services for persons displaced by county projects.
• Real estate consulting for county agencies and officials.

Acquisition and appraisal policies are governed by King County.
