Registration

King County buys everything to support the needs of County agencies, including police, general offices, courts, public health and welfare, maintenance and construction of buildings, roads, parks and playgrounds.

If you sell supplies or general services, your first stop should be Procurement and Contract Services. Call Procurement and Contract Services Section (PCSS) at 206-263-9400, or refer to Contact Us > Goods and Services to find out which Buyer is responsible for your commodity.

Suppliers are not required to pre-register in order to bid. However, the Procurement and Contract Services’ Online Vendor Registration (OVR) system allows the County to compile a comprehensive list of suppliers seeking to compete for contracts, along with a means of identifying the products and services they provide. To register, go to the Solicitations menu tab.

Once you have completed your Online Vendor Registration, you may contact the assigned Buyer for the commodity or service you provide in order to discuss your firm's capabilities. If a meeting with a Buyer is established, bring your company's literature, reference, telephone contacts, names of people authorized to sign contracts on your company's behalf, and information on any contracts you have with the federal, state or other municipal governments.

The FAQ menu item contains helpful instructions and answers most frequently asked questions. If you cannot find the answers to your questions, e-mail the webmaster at procurement.web@kingcounty.gov or contact Procurement & Contract Services at 206-263-9400 (TTY Relay: 711).
