News and Features

  • Effective October 12, 2015 contract language includes King County Equal Benefits Ordinance requirements. Supplemental forms are only required for non-compliance. See instructions at the Equal Benefits Forms page.
  • Nominations are now closed for the King County Executive Small Business Awards occurring on Oct 13, 2015. Visit the website for award winners and event information.
  • King County has implemented a Living Wage for certain contracts. A hearing on the Public Rule is set for August 18, 2015. Rulemaking will be completed by September 2015.
  • It is now easier to do business in King County. View 2015 Second Quarter efficiency and equity improvements in the Procurement Reform Progress Report (499KB, PDF).
  • Effective June 1, 2015 the time for submission of A&E and Professional Services proposals is changed to 12:00 p.m.
