Functional Code Number Classification


Policies, procedures and public rules are grouped according to the major function of King County government which they concern. Each subject is categorized using a functional three-letter code to make it easier to find documents by subject or function. The following list shows the county's functional classification breakdowns and corresponding three-letter subject codes.
