Delegating Signature Authority and Supervision of the Community Corrections Division to the Director of the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention

This order delegates to the Director of the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention the signatory authority and responsibility to supervise to the Community Corrections Division Director.

WHEREAS, Ordinance 14561 established the Community Corrections Division within the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention, and

WHEREAS, Ordinance 14561 also established the Community Corrections Division Director as a subordinate administrative office, and

WHEREAS, budget and operational authority currently resides within the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention, and

WHEREAS, the Community Corrections Division is an integral part of the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention, and

WHEREAS, Charter section 850 allows the executive to delegate authority to another officer,

NOW , THEREFORE, I Kurt Triplett, King County Executive do hereby order and direct the Director of the Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention the signatory authority and responsibility to supervise the Community Corrections Division Director and associated administrative offices.
