Office of Law Enforcement Oversight
The King County Office of Law Enforcement Oversight (OLEO) was created to assure integrity and transparency of the King County Sheriff’s Office and its employees. OLEO began operation in October of 2011.
What we do
OLEO's primary role is to accept complaints against the Sheriff's Office, monitor the investigation and resolution of all complaints, and determine if internal investigations are thorough and objective.
OLEO also jointly administers a mediation program and issues annual reports that provide analysis and reform recommendations. More information on OLEO's roles and responsibilities can be found at the links below:
