Greg Semler

Operations Director, State & Local Government and Education, Cisco Systems, Inc.

Mr. Semler is the Operations Director for the State and Local Government and Education (SLED) markets for Cisco Systems, Inc. In this role, he is responsible for Cisco’s sales strategy and go-to-market activities for the Western United States.

Mr. Semler has been with Cisco for 11 years and has held various sales and sales management positions. Based in Lake Oswego, OR, he served as Regional Manager for the in the Northwest United States, with responsibility for sales and support in the enterprise and public sector market segments. He has held other sales specialist positions in Southern California including Solutions Specialist for Public Safety participating in IACP(International Association of Chiefs of Police). Greg was instrumental with Cisco’s participation in WSCA and Cisco’s go to market strategies for contracts in State, Local and Education market’s.

Before joining Cisco in 2000, Mr. Semler worked for Professional Computing Incorporated later acquired by IKON Technology Services and Comp USA where he began his career in Information Technology.

A native Southern Californian, Mr. Semler has a daughter in Southern California and currently resides in Ridgefield, WA.
