Michel Danon
Chief Information Officer, Sound Transit
In this role, Michel leads the Sound Transit IT strategy to enable Light Rail, Rail and Bus systems in the Puget Sound region for 52 cities across 3 counties.
The IT division is in charge of transit/embarked systems, business applications & IT/network infrastructure.
Michel previously served as Vice-President and CIO for Fluke Corporation/DHR Test & Measurement in Everett for 9 years as well as head of the Program Management Office for Acquisitions/Integrations. 24 companies/product lines were integrated as the company tripled in size.
Michel also served as Business Unit Director at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in the US & Europe leading outsourcing and fixed price projects in the Aerospace, Transportation & Manufacturing sectors.
Michel started his career with IBM in the large systems division.

- M.S. Systems Automation – Franche-Comte University – Besancon
- Professional pilot and fighter pilot certifications on Alpha Jet, Mirage IIIE, Mystere IV and Fouga Magister (part of the reserve forces until moving to the US in 1996)
