Strategic Advisory Council
Purpose:
Develop and recommend strategic objectives for information technology deployment countywide;
Review business application proposals for their alignment with adopted strategic objectives;
Review and endorse the information technology strategic plan and all updates to it; and
Review policy-related transmittals to the county council that are proposed by the King County executive for large countywide information technology projects, such as the business cases.
The King County Executive shall serve as the chair of the Strategic Advisory Council.
The next SAC meeting is scheduled for Monday April 30, 2012, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the King County Chinook Building, 401 Fifth Avenue, Conference Rooms 121/123, Seattle, Washington 98104. At the upcoming SAC meeting, we will be discussing topics related to the Technology Roadmap for the County including transitioning the County’s Information Technology into a Service Oriented Organization, Unified Communications, Cloud Computing, and an update on Accountable Business Transformation.
