King County IT provides a wide variety of services to citizens, regional partners, local government agencies and to King County departments and employees. We are transforming the way we provide technology services by leveraging enterprise tools and capabilities created through standardization and alignment to our Strategic Plan. KCIT staff are champions of knowledge, collaboration, innovation, and teamwork.
Building Capacity in IT
King County Information Technology (KCIT) is committed to supporting an effective and efficient government model in King County, and to excel in delivery of technology services. One of KCIT Services guiding principles is to continually improve services we provide to our internal customers and the residents of King County. Continuous service improvement presents a challenge given the fiscal constraints.
Our approach is to build service capacity. KCIT Service Owners are finding ways to increase service output without increase in staff and without increase in cost, wherever possible.
