Project summary
King County Parks is initiating the design and construction of a connector trail from the Soos Creek Trail to a proposed temporary parking lot. The connector trail will be approximately 130 feet long and start 165' south of the northern terminus of Soos Creek Trail.
The design and construction of this extension and parking lot is important because it provides a trailhead for King County residents to access the Soos Creek Trail.
When completed, the parking lot will allow for 15 cars, have a restroom and picnic tables.
King County and Huitt Zollars, and engineering firm, are currently working on the trail extension and temporary parking lot. The firm will oversee the project through construction. The anticipated completion date is 2008. Project schedule
