This half-day course covers changes and updates to the ArcGIS interface that will effect how KCGIS users, analysts and data stewards interact with their GIS data and environment. It includes demos, exercises, and ample time for student questions and answers.

Staying Current with GIS: Beyond the Basics is for KCGIS users, analysts and data stewards.
Goals
Students will learn how to access the latest software updates, ESRI technical documents, user forums, developer samples & ArcScripts in order to make a smooth transition to ArcGIS 9.x.
Students will gain a solid overall understanding of new KCGIS data creation methods using ArcGIS 9.x.
Students will learn how to put updated ArcGIS 9.x functionality to work in King County.
