A web-based application that allows you to view maps and tables of more than 100 community census data indicators for 77 defined places throughout all of King County. Data is displayed at the block group level within each place.
How do I use Census Viewer? Getting started with Census Viewer takes just two simple steps: - Pick a place

Seventy-seven defined census places are pre-programmed into Census Viewer, so when you pick one, the resulting map will be zoomed in precisely to the boundaries of your chosen place. All data displayed in Census Viewer are derived from publicly available data sources. A census data indicator is a specific characteristic of the community, for example, the percent of the population living below the poverty level. Tracked over time, indicators can show whether conditions are improving or becoming worse. The data for each indicator is presented in two different formats in Census Viewer. First, a map shows the spatial distribution of that characteristic for the selected place. This can demonstrate, for example, the locations of the highest poverty areas. Second, the same data are displayed in a table along with the comparative data for all of King County and of Washington State. From within any Census Viewer map display, you can access a definition of the mapped data indicator with a single click of your mouse. All of the data indicator definitions can be accessed from the "Data Info" links on Census Viewer's opening page, or by going directly to the Data Definitions page.
