Property Tax Payment

As a King County taxpayer, you have online access to the same information about your property taxes as is available through our customer service staff. The following self-service tools are available online for your convenience:

If you cannot find answers to your questions in the FAQ menu, email or call 206-263-2890.

Property tax amounts for 2017 are expected to be posted online by February 15. Second half 2016 taxes must have been paid or postmarked by October 31, 2016 to avoid delinquency charges. To make online payment(s), go to the King County E-commerce Property Tax Web page. It may take up to a week for your property tax payment to be reflected in our records after we receive it. Even after we show your account in PAID status on our website, if your bank rejects the transaction, it can be reversed off of our system once we are notified. It is the responsibility of the taxpayer to confirm successful posting with their bank. If you pay online by electronic check (debit to your checking account), you should see this reduction in your bank account within three business days even though our system may not yet reflect the payment.
