• Health and insurance benefits for active employees, employees on leave and employees who leave county employment (COBRA and retiree benefits)
• Issuing timely and accurate paychecks for all employees and ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Flexible spending accounts
• Retirement system enrollment and information
• Deferred compensation plan enrollment and education
• The Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighters (LEOFF 1) Disability Board.

• Classes (new employee orientation, leave and exit classes and deferred compensation seminars)
• Benefit and retirement information and referral
• Direct assistance with everything from benefit, flexible spending account and retirement system enrollment to life, accidental death and dismemberment and disability claims processing.
• Providing employees and their families with timely, accurate, comprehensive and integrated human resource and payroll programs.
• Providing county agencies with cost effective payroll services.
• Ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local Regulations.
• Providing internal customers with consulting expertise.
