Unincorporated Area Councils (UACs) Unincorporated Area Councils (UACs) are independent entities formed to improve communication between county government and the residents of the unincorporated areas. The volunteer members of the six county-recognized councils are elected by local area residents. Executive Order PRE-7-1 (AEO) (Dec. 1994), the Citizens Participation Initiative, includes the requirements for King County's recognition of a UAC, and King County Motion 9643 (Aug. 1995) provides policy direction. Community service representatives serve as liaisons between the unincorporated area councils and county government. Six councils have been recognized by the King County Council:

This UAC is bordered by the cities of Seattle, Tukwila and Renton. Meets: The board of directors meets the second Wednesday of the month, 7:00 p.m. at the Skyway Fire District #20, 12424 76th Avenue South. The general meeting is held quarterly on the third Tuesday of January, April, July and October at 7 PM at the Skyway VFW, 7421 South 126th.
