Background/Boundaries:

The North Highline Unincorporated Area Council was the result of several community organizations joining together. The White Center Citizens Advisory Committee, the Boulevard Park/White Center Governance Strategies Committee, the Boulevard Park Community Council spearheaded the group who opted to strengthen their voice by seeking recognition from King County. North Highline was the first community group to be recognized as a UAC. This UAC serves the neighborhoods of White Center, Salmon Creek, Boulevard Park, Beverly Park, Glendale, Riverton Heights, Shorewood, South Park, and Top Hat.

Recognized by King County Motion 9838, April 15, 1996.
