Public Health response plans and tip sheets for emergency preparedness in a range of areas. Also includes presentations and handouts from semi-annual ESF-8 briefings.

ESF-8 Semiannual Briefings

Twice each year, in the spring and the fall, Public Health hosts an Emergency Support Function 8 (Health, Medical and Mortuary Services) briefing for local emergency managers, healthcare partners, community-based organizations, public and private sector responders, and public information officers. These briefings feature updates on response activities, plans, research and other issues that Public Health is addressing to ensure King County is prepared for the health and medical consequences of all hazards.
